The matchup between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky has quickly become one of the most talked-about showdowns in the WNBA, largely thanks to the budding rivalry between stars Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.

Even though Clark and Reese didn't suit up this time around, the game still carries serious weight, and it’s one no player wants to miss. That’s why a moment caught on camera before tip-off is hitting fans right in the feels. A clip shared on X shows Sky forward Michaela Onyenwere being comforted by a coach.

The video making the rounds shows a member of the Chicago Sky coaching staff comforting Onyenwere on the sidelines in what looked like a pretty emotional moment. As of now, it’s not clear exactly why, whether it’s injury-related or something else.

The Chicago Sky are facing off against the Indiana Fever on Sunday at the United Center in what will be their third matchup of the season. So far, the Fever have come out on top in both previous meetings, and they’ll be looking to continue the trend.

Meanwhile, the Sky are hoping to finally get one over Clark and Co., especially after dropping their last three games, the most recent being a tough blowout loss to the Storm. Sitting 11th in the standings at 7-17, the Sky have their work cut out for them.

Indiana, currently sixth at 13-12, is coming in hot after a big win over the Aces. Injury-wise, Michaela Onyenwere is good to go after a knee scare, while Hailey Van Lith and Angel Reese were ruled out. Moriah Jefferson and Ariel Atkins also are out with leg injuries.
