Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is nursing her second groin injury of the 2025 WNBA season. Missing five games earlier in the year with a left groin strain, Clark is now sidelined again with right groin injury. After playing all 40 games in her rookie season, Clark has appeared in just 13 of Indiana's 26 games this season.

Ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Chicago Sky, Clark joined Angel Reese on the inactive list, who was ruled out with a back injury. This game was moved to United Center in preparation of another Clark-Reese matchup, but instead neither player will be suiting up.

While Clark is not playing on Sunday, she is in attendance. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year had been traveling with her team even while injured, and always makes time for the fans. Sunday was no exception, as a photo has surfaced of Clark signing for several fans prior to tip-off at United Center.

Fans online were quick to notice the gravitational pull Clark still possesses even when injured and on the road.

"Sure this isn't Gainbridge lol," said one fan.

"But i thought this is Angel's house...oopssss...every game is a home game for CC/FEVER," one added.

"They in Chicago right? LMAO," added another.

"Is this in Gainbridge?" one asked.

"She owns Chicago," said another.

"her city now," commented another.

This development comes after some WNBA All-Star weekend controversy surrounding Reese and Clark. Following her pop-up in Indiana promoting her signature Reebok sneaker, Reese made a post on Instagram that many felt was a shot at Clark.

"I’M IN YOUR CITYYY," her caption read.

Additionally, Reese's video included the words "WALK IN YOUR TRAP TAKEOVER YOUR TRAP" in all caps — a nod to the Bankroll Fresh song that Reese added to her Instagram story. Many fans felt this was a direct shot at Clark, which has only added to the intrigue behind Indiana's superstar guard now receiving this much attention in Chicago.
