The Jackson Holbrook 12U baseball team will represent New Jersey at a World Series region tournament this weekend.
So far this summer, Jackson Holbrook has been unbeaten (14-0) as it has swept District 18, Section 3, state tournament championships - beating Elmora (Elizabeth) 12-5 on Sunday, July 27, to clinch the state tournament.
Jackson opens play Saturday in the Metro Region Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut - the tournament winner will head to the World Series.

What is Jackson's history in the Little League World Series?
This is the second Jackson team to reach the World Series regions since 2017, when Holbrook Little League - which was merged into Jackson Little League earlier this year - won the Mid-Atlantic Tournament. Holbrook won two games at the World Series and was among the last four U.S. teams still standing when eliminated.
All Metro Region games will be aired on either ESPN or ESPN+.
