Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones.
The NBA star, 25, announced the exciting news on Instagram on Monday afternoon.
"The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins," Haliburton's caption read.
The 6-foot-5 Pacers' star chose a memorable spot to propose to Jones - Iowa State University, where the couple first met six years ago as student athletes.
He popped the question at the university's basketball arena, the Hilton Coliseum, where he played hoops for two years and met Jones, who was a cheerleader at the time, in 2019.
The IG drop included several pictures of the sweet proposal, including one of Haliburton down on one knee in front of a life-size "Will You Marry Me?" sign. In the photos, dozens red roses and towering candle arrangements could be seen lining the court.
Another snap featured Jones, sporting a white tank dress, showing off her new bling - a large oval diamond engagement ring - as Haliburton stood in front of her holding onto her left hand.

Haliburton, who's currently recovering from a torn achilles and was wearing a boot on one leg, managed to get down on one knee to ask his girlfriend to marry him.
In a video of the special moment, the NBA star was seen slowly standing back up after getting down on one knee.
There was a small scooter visible nearby, which is likely used to help Haliburton get around while he recovers from the season-ending injury he endured during Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The soon-to-be Mrs. Hali was clearly overjoyed with the proposal, as she was one of the first to comment on her finacee's post, writing, ""Future Mrs. What the Hali 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭."
Others were quick to express their excitement over for the newly engaged couple.
"Omg I'm screaming," one person commented on Instagram.
"what the Haliburton?! he got his ring! big congrats 💍🧡," another Instagram user commented.
"YOU LEAVING WITH A RING EITHER WAY THIS YEAR 💍," someone else said.
"Congrats Bro just tore his Achilles and still got down on one knee she must be special," another person added.

Several WNBA star's also commented on the exciting news.
Fever star Caitlin Clark was one of the first to drop a comment.
"WEDDING TIMEEEEE🥰🥰 LOVE YALL," Clark wrote.
Her teammate, Lexie Hull, also commented on the engagement news.
"YAYAYAY!!!! Congrats you two 🤍🍾🥂,"Hull added, shortly after Haliburton shared the exciting news.
