Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams went 10-7 and won a home playoff game last season. In the divisional round, they stayed competitive but fell 28-22 to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles .

Heading into 2025, expectations remain high for this talented squad. During the offseason, the Rams added a major offensive weapon by signing veteran receiver Davante Adams to a two-year, $44 million contract. The 32-year-old is now on his fourth NFL team after starting his career with the Green Bay Packers.

At Saturday’s training camp practice held at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Adams showed exactly what the team hopes he’ll bring this season. The Rams shared a video of his touchdown catch and run with the caption:

"Did someone say touchdown Tae?!"

Adams is a three-time first-team All-Pro and a six-time Pro Bowler. He led the NFL in receiving touchdowns twice, most recently in 2022 with 14 scores. In 2020, he recorded a career-best 18 receiving touchdowns.

Originally a second-round pick out of Fresno State, Adams played his final season with the Packers in 2021, posting a career-high 123 receptions. He then played 37 games with the Las Vegas Raiders before being traded after three games in 2024. Adams finished last season with the New York Jets, where he recorded seven touchdown receptions in 11 games. He enters 2025 with 103 career touchdown catches.

Adams will team up with quarterback Matthew Stafford, though his touchdown in Saturday’s practice came from backup Jimmy Garoppolo. Stetson Bennett currently holds the third-string spot. The Rams’ receiving corps looks different without Cooper Kupp, but Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell remain projected starters.

Los Angeles will kick off the 2025 season at home on September 7 against the Houston Texans.
