Deion Sanders revealed he had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his bladder and will coach Colorado football in 2025.

Deion Sanders has turned Colorado from a losing football program into one that captures headlines on the national scene week after week. His Buffaloes went from a 4-8 record in the Pac-12 in his first year to a 9-5 mark in the Big 12 in his second. On July 28, Sanders announced he had sugery to remove a cancerous tumor from his bladder and that he intends to continue coaching at Colorado. Two seasons in Boulder have led to enough news stories for what many coaches would produce in a long career at a school.
