Last week we asked readers to weigh in on which Greater Lansing school had the most success in boys sports in the 2024-25 school year.

This week is your chance to weigh in on which area school had the top girls athletic program the last school year.

DEWITT

The Panthers found success throughout the school year and made its best run on the pitch as they made it to the Division 2 state semifinals in girls soccer and also won the CAAC Gold Cup. DeWitt captured regional championships in basketball and cross country. The 25 wins on the basketball court in the winter tied a school record. The Panthers also claimed a district title in volleyball.

FOWLER

The Eagles captured two state championships in 2024-25, finishing on top of Division 4 in basketball and track. The basketball state title was a third in five seasons and the track state championship was a second straight. Fowler won district titles in volleyball and softball.

HASLETT

The Haslett-based lacrosse team continued its recent success by making a third straight state semifinal appearance. The Vikings finished as a regional champion in tennis and a district title in basketball.

HOLT

The Rams were the Division 1 state runner-up in bowling, finishing among the best in the state for the second time in three seasons. Holt claimed district titles in volleyball and basketball.

LANSING CATHOLIC

The success for the Cougars was highlighted by capturing the Division 3 state title in cross country in the fall. Lansing Catholic also won a Softball Classic title and claimed a third straight league title. The Cougars won a league title in soccer.

MASON

The Bulldogs were a Division 2 regional runner-up in golf and won league and district titles in competitive cheer. Mason also won league championships in soccer, tennis and track.

OKEMOS

The Wolves won claimed a Division 1 regional title in track and finished as the regional runner-up in golf and had the individual state champion. Okemos also won the Greater Lansing cross country title and was the regional runner-up in the sport and captured a league title in swimming.

PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA

The Pirates were the only area girls basketball team to finish the regular season unbeaten while capturing a CMAC title and claiming a district championship and also had success in other sports. P-W had its biggest success in cross country and competitive cheer as it finished as the state runner-up in both sports. The Pirates were the Division 3 state runner-up in cross country and were the Division 4 state runner-up in competitive cheer. P-W also won regional titles in volleyball and track. The Pirates made the deepest tournament run in the area in volleyball.

PORTLAND

The Raiders were league and district champions in basketball and softball and captured a league title in bowling.
