Reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest news as one player who is set to make a move today.
Mike Penders is going to travel to Austria today apparently to make his move, and then there is going to be another Chelsea player following suit.
Sources: Chelsea pushing to get final fees agreed to sign two players early this week!
The news comes after Chelsea have looked to get some incoming transfer deals done as well and will continue to push to get those done into this new week.
One of those players is Jorrel Hato of Ajax, a player who apparently only wants to join Chelsea according to Romano’s latest updates on that one late last night.
And then Sky Sports had the latest out on Chelsea’s attempts to try and sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig; another one that we are hoping will now press on and get done this week.

Goalkeeper Mike Penders is going to join Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg on loan this season, and Romano put his latest out on that last night.
He posted on X:
‘Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders will travel to Austria on Monday to sign in as new Strasbourg player on loan.’
But he isn’t going to be the only player joining Strasbourg from Chelsea, and another is going to follow him there.
Paez to go to Strasbourg too
Attacking midfielder Kendry Paez is also going to be playing in Ligue 1 in France this season, following Penders move to Strasbourg.
Romano says he is ‘up next’ to move to the French side in those same updates above on Penders.
