Soto has done it for four teams already.
Juan Soto, in many ways, is unmatched in baseball history.
He broke into the majors young. He's moved around a lot. He combines a strong eye and impressive power in a way few ever have.
And on Sunday night, he set an MLB record.
The New York Mets' superstar hit an opposite-field home run, the eventual game-winning swing, to beat the San Francisco Giants on Sunday Night Baseball.
It was Soto's 25th homer of the season, and that's significant.
Soto has now reached 25 homers in a season with four different teams. He did it with the Nationals, Padres and Yankees before the Mets.
He's the first player ever to have a 25-HR season with four different teams before turning 29 years old, per OptaStats.

It's quite the accomplishment, to be sure.
There are layers of complexity to why Soto is already on his fourth team, but he probably won't be moving much more.
The Mets have Soto signed on for the next decade-and-a-half for generational money. He's very possibly a Met for life.
And they'll certainly hope he has some more home run-filled seasons in his future in blue and orange.
