Kanas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy says he's open to being the team's primary punt returner and do whatever it takes to help them win.
Kanas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy dazzled in his rookie season, primarily using his record-setting 4.21 40-yard dash speed to become an elusive weapon for their offense. Worthy would find more opportunity late in the season as he started to get more adjusted to his time in the NFL and when teammate Rashee Rice went out for the year with a torn ACL, Worthy got more opportunities lsat season.
Coming into his second year in the NFL, Worthy says he's willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win, even if it means becoming the primary punt returner.

Worthy finished his rookie season with 59 receptions, 638 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns, but did not record any return punts for Kansas City. If he's looking for a bigger role this season, Worthy may find himself more valuable on special teams as well on offense as he enters his second season with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
