The Buffalo Bills need a huge year from Keon Coleman, and it looks like he is prepared to break out in 2025.
The Buffalo Bills are nearly a week into training camp and wrapped up their fourth practice earlier today, and today featured a massive day from a second-year player the Bills need to break out in 2025.
Keon Coleman is entering a year in which the Bills him to be a massive factor in the offense to take the unit to an even higher level, and he looks like he's ready for the challenge.
"Wide receiver Keon Coleman had a day full of impressive catches," Maddy Glab writes. "During the first few plays of team period, Josh Allen found Coleman down the sideline for a nice play. Later, Allen targeted Coleman again near the sideline. Coleman was in traffic but managed to catch the ball in stride and hustle into the end zone. Allen did a fantastic job of placing the ball in an area where only Coleman could get to."
"Coleman's best play of the day came near the end of practice. Allen trusted the wide receiver to get him six on a play in the front of the end zone. The QB tossed up a beautiful ball to Coleman. The wide receiver got air and extended backwards to secure the ball and stepped into the corner of the end zone while a corner blanketed him."
"Considering Coleman reportedly had issues on the first day of camp when it came to separating, knowing he had a terrific day is a good sign for things to come in Year Two."
Coleman caught just 29 passes in 2024, but he averaged over 19 yards per catch and had four touchdowns. If he can separate better against man-coverage, a big year could be coming.
