Agent sighting at Santiago Bernabeu fuels Real Madrid superstar’s renewal talks

A recent revelation from AS has added fresh momentum to the ongoing discussion surrounding Vinicius Jr.’s future at Real Madrid. 

On a night that carried strong emotional weight for the Brazilian, his agent, Federico Pena, was present at the Santiago Bernabeu during Madrid’s Champions League clash against AS Monaco. 

The visit has been widely interpreted as a sign that talks over Vinicius’ contract renewal could soon move faster.

Vinicius’ current deal runs until 2027, and while there has been no official breakthrough yet, his camp is fully aware that the club remains firmly behind him. 

The past week has been a challenging one for the winger, both on and off the pitch, but the internal support he has received has been decisive in helping him respond in the right way.

That backing was visible on the pitch after the Monaco match. The embraces with teammates, followed by a particularly symbolic hug with Alvaro Arbeloa, underlined how protected Vinicius remains within the dressing room.

Naturally, the agent’s presence has fuelled optimism among Madrid supporters. Fans are eager for clarity on a renewal that would secure one of the club’s biggest assets beyond 2027. 

Despite Vinicius’ attempts to play down any urgency after the match, there is growing belief that the situation could be resolved sooner rather than later. 

Both Real Madrid and the player are aligned in their desire to continue working together, and the fact that Federico Pena was in Madrid at this moment is unlikely to be a coincidence.
