The new James Harden x ASU collection, released in collaboration with Adidas, features a co-branded jersey that ties Harden’s legacy to Arizona State. The jersey is black with maroon and gold accents highlighting the alumnus’ signature logo, marking one of the most significant collaborations in Sun Devils history.
Harden played two seasons at ASU before going on to become an NBA MVP and a 10-time All-Star. Despite achieving greatness beyond the Valley, he has remained closely connected to the program, and the collection reflects a blend of nostalgia and modern style.
According to Arizona Sports, the Sun Devils are set to wear the jerseys for an upcoming home game.

During his time in Tempe, Harden averaged 19.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game. He was drafted third overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, the second-highest selection in Arizona State history.
Harden’s No. 13 jersey was retired by the program in 2015.
The release represents more than just a merchandise drop for the Sun Devils. It reinforces the program’s relevance by aligning with an internationally recognized figure whose influence extends well beyond Arizona following his time at the school.

Arizona State fans immediately reacted to the collection’s release, expressing excitement about where to purchase the merchandise and enthusiasm over the program collaborating with Harden years after his collegiate career.
As college athletics continues to evolve, ASU’s collaboration with Harden showcases a commitment to honoring the past while remaining firmly rooted in the present.
