BMW factory driver Dan Harper will drive alongside seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi in the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup.
Harper, from Northern Ireland, will race alongside Rossi and German driver Max Hesse for the #46 Team WRT BMW at Paul Ricard, Monza, the Nurburgring, Portimao and the 24 Hours of Spa - one of the biggest GT races in the world.
After retiring from MotoGP in 2021, 46-year-old Rossi switched his attention to cars and endurance racing.
The Italian is regarded as one of the best motorcycle racers of all time and he won seven titles and claimed 89 victories in a 21-year career in MotoGP's premier class.
After winning the Porsche Carrera Cup GB in 2019, Harper joined BMW's reformed junior team and progressed to become a full factory driver in 2023.
The 25-year-old will make his debut at the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours in June as part of his first season racing in the World Endurance Championship.
"He's someone I looked up to," Harper told BBC Sport NI in 2023 when Rossi joined BMW as a driver.
"My first kart number was #46 because of Valentino and my first dog was actually called Rossi."
