As the Betway Premiership season approaches, Chippa United have emerged as one of the most active clubs in the transfer market, completely revamping their squad under new head coach Sinethemba Badela. The Eastern Cape outfit has already secured eight new signings while parting ways with eighteen players in a dramatic roster shakeup.
The Chilli Boys' ambitious recruitment drive has seen them acquire three Orlando Pirates players - Goodman Mosele, Azola Tshobeni and Abdoulaye Mariko - supplemented by additions like Khaya Mfecane and Bandile Dlamini. This comes alongside high-profile departures including veterans Justice Chabalala and Andile Jali.

Now, Chippa have turned their attention to defender Lesego Sebetlela as they continue strengthening their backline. The 26-year-old center-back impressed last season with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars, making 25 appearances and scoring twice.
