Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix stepped onto the field for the start of training camp earlier this week. Last year, he burst onto the scene with 29 touchdown passes and nearly 4,000 yards, proof that he might be the answer head coach Sean Payton had hoped for.

Entering year two with the Broncos, expectations for Nix are high after his 2024 campaign. According to Jon Heath of Broncos Wire, the quarterback's teammates, one of whom is Patrick Surtain II, have been hyping up the young star.

"Bo, he's even more confident going into this year," Surtain said. "He’s a tremendous leader out there, and a tremendous player. This year he's going to make a lot of noise, and we're looking forward to seeing what he does and his success moving forward.”

Broncos veteran right tackle Mike McGlinchey believes Nix could take another leap in 2025 with the experience of a rookie season under his belt, noting his ability to improve quickly as last season progressed.

"Now he knows what it feels like. He knows what it looks like. He knows, obviously, that he is very good at it, and I think that just gives him the hunger for more," McGlinchey said. I think that's what's really impressive about Bo is his competitive nature of just trying to get the most out of himself every single day."

After a 10-7 season capped off by their first playoff appearance since the 2015 season, expectations are high for the Broncos. Nix's improvement will be crucial to the team taking a step forward offensively and to achieving the ultimate goal, a Super Bowl title.
