Throughout his seven-year career, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has already accomplished so much, earning four Pro Bowl appearances and three First-Team All-Pro selections and winning NFL MVP twice.

Last season was simply just another impressive campaign. Jackson completed 316 of 474 passes for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns and four interceptions and compiled a 119.6 passer rating along with 915 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Now, he and the Ravens are gearing up for the 2025 season with training camp underway, and while talking to reporters on Wednesday, Jackson put the rest of the NFL on notice, saying, “I’m only 28. I’m just getting started for real."

Of course, he already has had a tremendous amount of personal success since entering the NFL in 2018, so Jackson claiming there's still room for improvement could spell bad news for opposing teams and is leaving fans very excited.

"Not sure why but I feel Lamar is on a different level this off season. He's not over how they got eliminated last season. Wish him nothing but the best," said one comment.

"which is true and a scary thought bc he keeps getting better every year," said another.

"That’s what we all want to hear. As long as he plays smart and we have a bell cow like Henry, he could last another decade or so," a third added.

A fourth stated, "It is your year 8!!! Let’s get it!!!"

"Michael Jordan won his first championship at 28," a fifth continued.

"We winning the Super Bowl mvp and sbmvp," said another.

For as much personal success as Jackson has enjoyed, it has not translated into the postseason, because in eight playoff games he has led the Ravens to a 3-5 record with no Super Bowl appearances.

However, that could all change in 2025, as Baltimore and the Buffalo Bills are tied for the second-best odds (+700) to win the Super Bowl, while the Philadelphia Eagles are just ahead (+650), per ESPN BET.
