LUBBOCK, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The No. 15 Texas Tech Red Raiders defeated the No. 11 BYU Cougars 84-71 at United Supermarkets Arena to improve to 14-4 on the season.
Forward JT Toppin got his 7th straight double-double, with 27 points and 12 rebounds on the night. However, Toppin wasn’t the only one to score more than 20 points, guard Christian Anderson dropped 22 and LeJuan Watts put up 20. The trio combined for 69 points on the night. Head coach Grant McCasland and the Red Raiders hit the road on Tuesday to face Baylor. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. and can be watched on Peacock.
