The Bears came up short, but Caleb Williams wowed the NFL again

Here’s what Caleb, Cole, and some notable NFL figures had to say about Williams’ touchdown pass to Kmet.

It wasn’t his best game with a career high three interceptions, but Caleb Williams was 23 of 42 with 257 yards passing, with two touchdowns, and 40 yards on five rushes, and he nearly did the improbable again.

His last touchdown, a ridiculous fourth-down scramble, then fadeaway to Cole Kmet, made everyone stand up and believe.

Here’s what a few notable NFL figures had to say about Williams’ fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Kmet.

Here’s Cole’s perspective on the pass.

And here’s what Caleb had to say about the pass.

In his postgame presser, Caleb Williams said he will work on his accuracy and footwork this offseason.

It’s impossible for a quarterback, or any player for that matter, to work on everything in an offseason, but last year, his emphasis was on cutting his sacks, and he went from a league high 68 sacks allowed as a rookie to just taking 24 this year.

So if you want to doubt Williams’ work ethic to improve upon his 58.1 completion percentage, that’s a bet I’ll gladly take.

This season didn’t end on a high, but the future is promising.
