Although Josh Hines-Allen's performance saw a significant drop last season, he was among the top pass rushers in the league. The two-time Pro Bowler has been a crucial member of the Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive line.

Hines-Allen showed a glimpse of his true potential in his rookie season itself, racking up 44 tackles and two forced fumbles. His second season was cut short due to a knee injury, but the 28-year-old hasn't looked back since stepping back on the field.

The Jaguars' defensive end has played 66 games, averaging over 800 defensive snaps in the last four years. Hines-Allen earned his second-straight appearance in the "Top 100 Player of 2025" list.

The former first-round pick entered the list at No. 63 this year. He dropped 28 places from his last year's rank. Former center Mitch Morse appeared in the NFL's video honoring Hines-Allen's achievement and shared his feelings about the defensive end.

"Josh is one of those guys that makes me happy that I don't play on the edge," he said. "Not only is he a physical presence, he's got the physical attributes, but he also is diligent in his craft."

Broncos tight end Evan Engram also heaped praise on Hines-Allen for his abilities.

"He's a game wrecker, in the pass game, in the run game," he said. "You go into a game as an offense, there are key players every week, that you got to make sure you have a plan for. Josh is that guy for our defense."

Fellow Jaguars' DE Travon Walker revealed his favorite Hines-Allen moment from the season.

"Just his work ethic, the type of energy that he brings to the field every day," he said. "It [when Hines-Allen buried Will Levis] was probably one of the biggest hits from him this season on the quarterback."

Hines-Allen registered 45 tackles and eight sacks last season compared to 66 tackles and a career-high 17.5 sacks in the 2023 NFL season. He is eyeing a comeback in the upcoming season with Trevor Lawrence returning from the injury. The veteran DE will also have the rookie two-way star Travis Hunter, who'll play both defensive and offensive snaps.
