PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) – Peoria Christian boys basketball won Saturday night at Brimfield to take home the ICAC tournament title. The Chargers defeated Peoria Heights.
In the third-place game, Brimfield cruised past Elmwood.
For girls hoops, Morton played their first game as the new No. 1-ranked team in 3A and beat Canton at home 54-26. Washington defeated Metamora at home 69-26 with Avery Tibbs putting up 20 points.
Other girls basketball winners included: Limestone, El Paso-Gridley, IVC, Fieldcrest, Heyworth, Princeville and Ronanoke-Benson.
Boys hoops winners were: Morton, Normal Community, Normal West, U-High, Central Catholic, Bloomington, East Peoria, EPG, and Lexington.
Canton girls wrestling won a home tournament as well.
