An astonishingly ineffective Pittsburgh team was on its heels and out of the game from the tip. 

Skeptical the orangutans may be of changes in the their cages, but they were in slumber early. 

The Panthers all seemed like they’d gotten into the zookeeper’s cache of rum. 

With seven and half left before intermission, the Cards were up 39-8.

+31 was the margin at the break. 

Thanks to better shooting early, and a more lax Cardinal D, the Panthers cut to the margin to 27 midway through the 2d. 

Not even sure why I wrote that sentence.

This one was obviously never in doubt.

Punctuated by a late 15-2 exclamation point which pushed the advantage to 40.

Louisville 100, Pitt 59.

The zoo closed early Saturday night.

It was an annihilation.

Not to make too much of it, but his performance might have been the big takeaway of this lopsided W. Quality time from our Greek can be mighty helpful.

The flip side. 

Once important now essentially useless Kasean Pryor didn’t enter the “fray” until 4:30 to go. Despite the absence of Khani Rooths for the second straight game.

Five Cardinals were in double figures.

Six Cardinals netted a triple.

Eight Cards had an assist. 

Five Cardinals had a steal.

Of course, Pittsburgh is not a good team. 

Frankly this was, all matters pertinent considered, a Must Win.

Louisville came out intense, focused and relentless.

Took care of biz.
