Chelsea now have a 2-0 lead against Brentford – they don’t really deserve it, but we’ll take it.
The Blues have been crying out for Liam Delap leading the line all game, and it didn’t take him long to deliver after coming on.
He was on hand to chase down a loose touch from the Brentford keeper Caominh Kelleher, and after the stopper brought the striker down a penalty was given. Cole Palmer has been poor today, but he made no mistake with a brilliant penalty.

In other news…
Tosin was a slightly controversial pick at centre-back for Chelsea today given he’s not our most popular defender, but to be fair to him he did really well in this game until going off injured. We just have to hope it’s nothing serious.
Chelsea have the lead thanks to Enzo Fernandez, who chased down and blocked a clearance which fell for Joao Pedro to hammer in. That’s his 5th goal or assist in 6 games, showing just how important he is to this team right now.
