Another quarterback joins the Tribe
Florida State took another step towards filling out its quarterback room for 2026, adding FCS signal-caller Dean DeNobile into the fold through the transfer portal. Noles247 broke the news.
DeNobile, 6-foot-1 and 198 pounds, will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer. He was a two-time team captain at Lafayette College and was named to the First Team All-Patriot League following the 2025 season. He completed 223 of 348 passes (64%) for 2,542 yards, tossing 19 touchdowns to seven interceptions despite playing with a significant injury down the stretch. He also added two rushing scores.
DeNobile finished his Lafayette career third in career completion percentage (65.2), fourth in career completions (619) and fifth in career passing yards (6,956). He started 36 of Lafayette’s last 37 games at quarterback and should provide a veteran presence in the locker room. He is originally from Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
