Jordan Seaton’s recruitment is moving quickly after his departure from Colorado, and the prized offensive tackle has already surfaced on an SEC campus.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Seaton is visiting Mississippi State, a significant early development for head coach Jeff Lebby as he looks to boost the Bulldogs’ offensive line. Seaton has a strong relationship with MSU offensive line coach Phil Loadholt, who coached him during their lone season together at Colorado in 2024.

The former NFL player joined the Buffs staff under Deion Sanders after previously working at Oklahoma. Loadholt became a natural fit. Now the pairing is hoping familiarity can translate into a major portal win.

Mississippi State showed progress in 2025 under Lebby, snapping an 0-8 SEC slide with a win over Arkansas and earning a bowl berth despite a 5-7 record. Adding an elite tackle like Seaton would accelerate that rebuild tremendously.

However, there are two others teams deep in the bidding war for Seaton. Nakos reported that at least one more SEC visit is expected, including a trip to Austin with Steve Sarkisian and Texas. Seaton would protect Arch Manning after one year in front of Shedeur Sanders to his credit.
