See who won the Montgomery Advertiser's reader poll for Volleyball Player of the Year for the 2025 season.

The results for the Montgomery Advertiser's reader poll for the high school volleyball player of the year in the Montgomery area are in.

The poll received a total of 21,215 votes, with readers given the choice to vote once per hour for a week.

Montgomery Academy junior Kaci Armistead received a total of 15,539 votes (73.25%) to claim the poll. Trinity Presbyterian's Ellie Causey finished with the second most votes (3,384), and Pike Road's Elaisa Vazquez finished with the third most votes (2,042).

It was a record setting type of year for Armistead during the 2025 season as the junior eclipsed 1,000 career digs on Sep. 4 in a match against Auburn High School. A month later on Oct. 23, Armistead made school history, surpassing Addi Vinson for the school's record in digs.

Armistead finished the season with 648 digs, 101 aces and 70 assists as a libero for Montgomery Academy.
