Florida State recruiting: Offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner commits, will transfer to FSU

The Seminoles land a Big Ten starting center

Florida State has a ton of needs along the offensive line this offseason and just secured a prominent addition for 2026, with Purdue starting center Bradyn Joiner signing with the Seminoles on Thursday.

Joiner may be a familiar name to Seminole fans, as Mike Norvell and company tried to gain his pledge last cycle when Joiner transferred from Auburn after landing on the All-SEC Freshman Team. He landed at Purdue and subsequently started all 12 games at center for the Boilermakers. He had mixed results on the field, posting an overall higher grade and a decently improved pass blocking grade in his second season. He finished with an overall PFF grade of 62.7, with only one sack allowed on 791 snaps.

Joiner should push for a starting role along the interior of the line and, at worst, should provide functional depth, as he has experience at center and left guard. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. Herb Hand worked quickly to lock him up this time around and Joiner will now continue his career in Tallahassee.

From his bio:

Played 22 games with 17 starts on offensive line over past two seasons…started all 12 games as Purdue’s center in 2025…appeared in 10 games as redshirt freshman with Auburn in 2024…started at left guard for Auburn’s final five games and has started 17 consecutive games overall…named to SEC All-Freshman Team and allowed just three sacks in 281 pass blocking snaps with Tigers…did not appear in any games in 2023 as true freshman at Auburn…No. 1 center in Alabama out of Auburn High School in class of 2023…two-time ASWA first-team all-state selection…led Auburn High to 7A state championship appearance as senior.
