"Disbelief and stillness were all I felt as I yelled, get up, get up, over and over again. He always gets up. He’s George — he can do all things. He just does it. It hurts. There’s no preparing for it," she began her Instagram caption, which she posted on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

Claire went on to praise George for his perseverance, confirming that his comeback will be strong.

"I love this man with everything I have in me. He is a unicorn in this world, and he will be back stronger and better than ever before," she wrote. "The mind of a heartbroken athlete is a determined one. He is unf--kwithable, as is this entire team."

While George won't be taking another snap, the San Fransisco 49ers are headed to the divisional round after beating the Eagles 23-19.

"I’m proud of these guys and the rally-together grit they fight with each week. It’s a special year, you can feel that and we’re not done yet," she wrote in her caption, concluding, "Thank you for loving G and carrying some of this pain for us ❤️."

Claire's heartfelt caption accompanied a slideshow of photos, featuring intimate moments with George with a swollen right ankle upon sustaining his injury and sweet PDA-filled pics with him on the sideline before the game.

In an Instagram post of his own, George — who reportedly requested for a bottle of tequila in the locker room after the injury — candidly opened up about his injury one day after the game.

“Football sucks sometimes. But I love it," the 49ers tight end began in his caption. Kittle included some photos of himself on the field and a picture of his wife kissing him in the locker room.

“I love these guys and this team. Heartbroken but have felt so much love and support from everyone reaching out,” he added. “I’ll be good. Thank you. We aren’t done yet!”

The 49ers, sans George, will play the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional round of the playoffs on Saturday, Jan. 17.
