Travis Kelce and his hairstyles are a love story.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, has been keeping up with his signature look and recently went to Los Angeles barber Vince Garcia for a touch-up on his buzz cut. In a photo shared to Garcia's Instagram on Jan. 13, the athlete's spruced-up cut can be seen in full detail, as well as his Chiefs cape.
"My brother @killatrav pulled up for @thatbuttersoft fade. Always good catching up fam! Preciate you," Garcia captioned the photo.
Garcia has worked with Kelce for years, but his relationship with Kelce made headlines back in May 2025, when the New Heights podcaster was speculated to have undergone a hair transplant when his locks were noticeably longer and thicker during that year's NFL season and Super Bowl.
When Us Weekly asked the groomer if the rumors were true, he said, "Nah, not at all, man." He further debunked the gossip by confirming Kelce's "full head of hair."
A few months later, Kelce chopped his locks for a buzz cut that he's been rocking since.

As he gained new attention in the early stages of his relationship with Taylor Swift, a lot more eyes turned to other parts of his life, such as his fashion, which then led to a growing interest in his hair. In 2024, what became known as the “Travis Kelce” (aka a "bald fade") skyrocketed in barber shops across the nation, according to Inside Edition, which increased demand for his barber at the time, Patrick Regan.
"The funny thing is, it's such a simple haircut, you know. Barbers have been doing this haircut for centuries," Regan told Good Morning America. He also told Fox News that Kelce's now-fiancée happened to be a big fan of the look. "She has watched me cut his hair a bunch of times and always compliments it after."
The commentary on the "Travis Cut" was also met with social media backlash for failing to address the longstanding popularity of the style within the Black community and other cultures. When Kelce addressed the virality of his hairstyle, he said, "I didn't invent that — I just asked for it."
