On this day of our Lord, year 2026, the holiest of holies, 247Sports, ranked Texas football’s NCAA Transfer Portal recruiting class at the nation’s most successful this offseason. The honor comes after the recruitment of star portal wide receiver Cam Coleman, who announced his commitment to Texas earlier this week. Also joining the Longhorns later this offseason will be Hollywood Smothers, who departed NC State at last season’s conclusion and, until head coach Steve Sarkisian and staff convinced him otherwise, was committed to compete for Alabama head coach Kalen Deboer’s squad in Tuscaloosa next season. As is former Arizona State and USC running back Raleek Brown, who also committed to Texas this week.
