Tennessee adds Tulane EDGE Jordan Norman

Another nice pickup at EDGE.

Tennessee has picked up a commitment from Tulane EDGE rusher Jordan Norman as work continues on the defensive side of the ball. Norman will join Chaz Coleman on Tennessee’s depth chart, replacing the departed Joshua Josephs, Caleb Herring and Jordan Ross.

Norman is another big body with length, as Jim Knowles clearly has a type at the position. Norman checks in at 6-4, 250 pounds, coming off of a six sack season. Norman began his career at South Alabama before transferring to Tulane ahead of last season. The former 3-star prospect is out of Hoover, Alabama.

Norman will join Coleman and Christian Gass on the depth chart, along with true freshmen Hezekiah Harris, Zach Groves and CJ Edwards. Still with so little experience at the spot, it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see Tennessee add another name here over the next few days.

Norman also visited Colorado, Florida and South Carolina before arriving at his Tennessee decision on Sunday. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Knowles adds his seventh addition out of the transfer portal here tonight, completely remaking a defense that struggled so badly during the 2025 season. He’s not done just yet either, still going after a handful of defensive linemen and defensive backs.

Of course, the next issue up for Tennessee is figuring out the quarterback situation now with Sam Leavitt off the board.
