Georgia football's latest quarterback target

The Georgia Bulldogs have joined Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Wisconsin and more in offering a scholarship to quarterback Blake Roskopf

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2027 quarterback recruit Blake Roskopf. Georgia hosted Roskopf on a visit for the Alabama game back in September.

Roskopf already has over 20 scholarship offers. Some of his recent offers include Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound quarterback has excellent size. Roskopf is ranked as the No. 204 recruit in the country, per 247Sports. He plays high school football for Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Arizona, which is located west of Phoenix. The talented passer is the second-best recruit in Arizona and the No. 12 quarterback in the country.

Roskopf has a strong arm and good mobility. He's especially comfortable making throws outside the numbers and projects as a pocket passer at the next level.

"After a great conversation with Coach Streeter, I am blessed to receiver my 22nd Division I offer from Georgia football," Roskopf said via social media. Georgia offensive analyst Brandon Streeter, who was previously with Clemson, appears to be one of the Bulldogs' lead recruiters for Roskopf.

In the class of 2027, Georgia has five total commitments and the No. 8 recruiting class in the nation. UGA has no quarterback commitments in the 2027 cycle, but the Bulldogs have a verbal commitment from the nation's No. 1 quarterback, Jayden Wade, in the class of 2028. There's definitely a possibility that Wade reclassifies to the class of 2027.
