The Los Angeles Dodgers have been without pitchers Blake Snell and Blake Treinen since the beginning of April, but both could be returning soon.

The Los Angeles Dodgers revealed updates on the timelines of two critical pitchers returning from injury on Monday. Starting pitcher Blake Snell and reliever Blake Treinen have been out since early April, but could be nearing a return for the Dodgers.
Snell pitched in his third rehab start on Sunday, going four innings at Triple-A Oklahoma City against the Sacramento River Cats. The Dodgers' starter allowed one run on four hits, struck out six batters on 59 pitches, including 38 strikes, and walked one batter.
Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts then gave the plan for Snell's next start, which could be his final rehab start before joining the Dodgers.

He threw 58 pitches, 24 of them were 4-seams, he was 95-96, spin SAT at 2441, touched 2535. His 4-seam was in zone 54%, which is a touch low, but very close to being almost perfect.

“He’s going to have another one, it’ll probably be Saturday,” Roberts said (h/t DodgerBlue). “So he’ll have another one on Saturday, and it’ll be a five (innings) and 75 (pitches). And then at that point in time, it’ll be a conversation on if he comes back with us or does another one."
Snell has been on the injured list since April 6 with left shoulder inflammation, but could be close to making his long-awaited return to the Dodgers' starting rotation. Through his three rehab starts, Snell has a 2.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP with 17 strikeouts and a walk across nine innings of work.
After Snell exited his rehab start on Sunday, Treinen entered and pitched a scoreless inning. Along with his comments on Snell, Roberts said Treinen was good as well.
With both pitchers trending toward a return for the Dodgers, Los Angeles' pitching staff is finally getting healthy for the first time all season. Shohei Ohtani is back, and Tyler Glasnow has made two starts since his return. The Dodgers' starting rotation is starting to get into shape.
The Dodgers should also get Roki Sasaki back in late August to fortify the starting rotation. As for now, all eyes will be on Snell this weekend to see if the Dodgers' starter does enough to make his way back to the mound for Los Angeles.
