Caitlin Clark has just set another record.

The latest, you ask? Oh, nothing, just setting the record for the highest sale of a women’s sports card of all time with her 2024 Panini Flawless WNBA Platinum Rookie Logowoman Patch Auto 1/1

This 1/1 sold in the Fanatics Collect July Premier Auction on Thursday, July 24, for a record-breaking $660,000. The previous record sale for a Caitlin Clark card, which was the highest at the time for any female athlete previously, sold for $366,000.

"In 2024, Caitlin Clark took the WNBA by storm and brought the league a lot of attention, not to mention sold-out crowds," a description on the official Fanatics site reads. "It was a similar situation for WNBA basketball cards, with collectors scrambling to get what they could from the high-profile rookie.

"While there were many great, rare Caitlin Clark rookie cards, none were truly super premium until 2024 Panini Rookie Royalty arrived. The limited online-exclusive drop brought together several of the card maker's biggest autograph lines, creating some truly enticing Caitlin Clark signatures."

The site continues, "Boasting the Flawless name, this 1/1 Caitlin Logowoman Autograph is one-of-a-kind. Everything about it is top-of-the-line. The brand represents the prestigious jewel of the Panini portfolio. When it comes to patches, it doesn't get more iconic than a league logo. Even the autograph carries something extra with the ""769 pts and counting"" inscription noting the total from her rookie season."

The No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds in a historic rookie season. She led the Fever to 20 wins, their most in a single season since 2015.

One thing's for sure: Caitlin Clark continues to raise the bar for women’s sports both on and off the court as she has the highest-selling trading card for a female athlete in any sport.
