The 2026 NFL Playoffs gets underway in rainy, windy Charlotte, where the NFC South champion Carolina Panthers are looking to shock the world (again) against the Los Angeles Rams. Part of why the Seattle Seahawks can sit back and enjoy the number one seed is because the Rams lost to the Panthers in Week 13, paving the way for Seattle to be able to win out to get the NFC West title.
It’s expected to be a bad weather game, which definitely is of no use to a bad passing offense like Carolina’s, but could help limit the explosive attack led by Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua. Can Carolina lean on turnovers and the running game to spring a season-ending surprise? Probably not, but we’ve seen crazier things happen in the playoffs… especially when a sub-.500 division champion is hosting a Super Bowl contender.
Joe Davis and former Panthers tight end Greg Olsen have the call for FOX starting at 1:30 pm PT. The winner of this game could face the Seahawks next week in the Divisional Round, but it’s dependent on how the other NFC matchups go.
Let’s go, Panthers! Much of your organization has former Seahawks on it to begin with!
