New York Jets 2025 NFL training camp is underway and will be watched under a microscope each and every day.
Throughout practices, updates are shared during the workouts which make for intriguing and important notes. In terms of Day 2 of training camp, what stood out the most?
Here are three observations from the second day of Jets training camp:
Fields scare
This overshadowed the entire practice on Thursday. Quarterback Justin Fields went down with an injury and was carted off the field.
Thankfully we can cut right to the chase: Fields is only considered to be "day-to-day." He dislocated a toe.
Tyrod still made a play
Without Fields, Tyrod Taylor stepped into a role with the first-team offense. The hope from the Jets will be Fields not going down again in 2025. However, Taylor did reportedly make a few plays. The QB2 spot appears to be in good hands.

Kicking woes
Yikes. Kicking issues might be back again for the Jets in 2025. It's early, but both Caden Davis and Harrison Mevis missed multiple kicks on Day 2.
