A few quick observations from the second day of Buffalo Bills training camp.
Buffalo Bills 2025 NFL training camp is underway and will be watched under a microscope each and every day.
Throughout practices, updates are shared during the workouts which make for intriguing and important notes. In terms of Day 2 of training camp, what stood out the most?
Here are three observations from the second day of Bills training camp:
Cook latest
While not an on-field note, running back James Cook has been in headlines throughout the offseason because of his contract dispute with the team. Cook wants a new deal and is entering the final year of his current one.
Cook has noted he wants to stay in Buffalo and did so again. But he's steadfast on getting paid still.
"However it happens, it’s going to get done," Cook said via video conference. "Wherever it happens at."
Wideout standouts
Multiple reports noted big days from two of quarterback Josh Allen's receivers in Keon Coleman and Elijah Moore. Coleman specifically was discussed plenty after Thursday's workout following a rough first day of training camp.
Keon Coleman is making plays on Day 2 of #Bills training camp. He has four receptions today after a rough Day 1. Catching balls short and intermediate - getting separation over the middle #BillsMafia

O-line note
While it's just a backup position, Tylan Grable appears to be in the Bills' plans after he was nonexistent in his rookie season. With stating right tackle Spencer Brown (back) not practicing, Grable has been getting looks with the first-team offense over the course of the first two days of practice.
