Kaulig Racing launches trailer for reality show competition for Ram Truck seat

Ram is returning to the NASCAR Truck Series for the first time in over a decade this year, partnering with Kaulig Racing to form a five-truck effort for the 2026 season.

The ambitious plan will include Brenden Queen, Justin Haley, and Daniel Dye as full-time drivers going for the title. It will also feature an all-star truck described as the 'free agent program' with various different drivers announced throughout the year.

However, the fifth and final seat will be determined through a reality show competition called Race For The Seat. The competition features 15 aspiring drivers competing against each other for the final Ram 1500 seat at Kaulig Racing. The team has partnered with UFC President & CEO Dana White as the executive producer for the show. Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis and Kaulig Racing team owner Matt Kaulig will also be heavily featured in the show.

The drivers will face off in various different vehicles and at tracks ranging from Virginia International Raceway to South Boston Speedway as they battle it out for the big prize -- a shot at one of the national levels of NASCAR.

“Ram is an iconic American brand, and I’m excited to partner up with them for their new reality series, Race for the Seat,” said Dana White, UFC CEO. “This reality show is all about finding up-and-coming drivers and giving them a massive platform. The best always rise to the top in this type of competition. We are going to find the next generation of superstars for the NASCAR Truck series."

While already filmed, the winner of the competition has been kept quiet with the show premiering on FOX Sports on January 25th at 12pm EST. Additional episodes will appear on FOX Sports 1 and Ram's YouTube page.
