Snow takes down one game so far in the Bundesliga.
Per a release from RB Leipzig, the club’s away match vs. St. Pauli has been postponed due to heavy snowfall:
ℹ️ Our Bundesliga game tomorrow away at FC St. Pauli has been postponed.
As the operators of the Millerntor-Stadion, FC St. Pauli have closed the venue after discussions with local authorities. This is due to large amounts of snow and ice covering the entirety of the stadium complex and the associated safety risks for everyone involved, as well as the critical overall situation in Hamburg.
The German Football League (DFL) will confirm a rescheduled date for the match in due course. All away tickets will remain valid for this fixture. RBL’s next Bundesliga game will take place on Wednesday, 14th January at 20:30 CET at the Red Bull Arena.
With the weather severe in certain areas, there could be other Bundesliga games affected as well.
