Top Flyweights will run it back in “Rain City.”
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight champion Alexa Grasso is set to rematch No. 5-ranked contender Maycee Barber at UFC Seattle on Sat., March 28, 2026, inside Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
Twitter user RealKevinK was first to report the booking.
The two first met more than five years ago at UFC 258 on Feb. 13, 2021, where Grasso earned a unanimous decision victory.
Barber (15-2) has been vocal about wanting the rematch for years, and she finally gets her chance. The 27-year-old is coming off a unanimous decision win over Karine Silva at UFC 323 and currently rides a seven-fight winning streak, firmly cementing herself as a top contender in the division.
However, Barber’s momentum has not come without setbacks. Last May, she was scheduled to headline her first UFC event against Erin Blanchfield in a title eliminator, but the bout fell apart after Barber missed weight and later suffered a seizure backstage just minutes before the fight, forcing her withdrawal and hospitalization. Prior to that, she was sidelined for months after a severe case of pneumonia left her hospitalized for 11 days and forced her out of a planned main event against Rose Namajunas.
Now healthy, Barber appears to be just one — maybe two — wins away from finally competing for UFC gold.
Grasso (16-5-1), meanwhile, enters the rematch on the first two-fight losing streak of her career. She most recently dropped a forgettable unanimous decision to Natalia Silva at UFC 315, following the loss of her Flyweight title to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 306.
