Cadillac has named IFS as its official technology partner ahead of its 2026 Formula 1 debut
Cadillac has announced a new partnership with IFS Software, which will act as the American outfit's official technology partner, ahead of its Formula 1 debut this year.
The team began using IFS Software before it had received the official approval to join the F1 grid as the 11th team in areas such as financials and procurement capabilities. According to the outfit, IFS now also supports areas including inventory, engineering management, supply chain, production and quality management.
"IFS has been instrumental in helping the Cadillac Formula 1 Team launch the first new team to enter Formula 1 for over a decade," Cadillac F1's global head of commercial strategy, Tyler Epp, said.
"We decided to implement IFS early on in our journey – before we even had entry confirmed. It’s helped us rapidly scale our operations by providing tools to establish best practices, manage complexity, and accelerate innovation. From supply chain to engineering, IFS software is helping us make smarter decisions so we can focus on what matters most: building a competitive car and delivering results on the track."

Cadillac is to join the grid in 2026 with drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez and reserve driver Zhou Guanyu. Led by team principal Graeme Lowdon, the squad is set to unveil its 2026 challenger in a TV advert during the Super Bowl on 8 February, before testing on 11-13 February and 18-20 February.
The 2026 season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix on 6-8 March.
