The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to defend their national title, entering the 2025 college football season with one of the best rosters in the nation.
Ohio State earned the first-ever national title in the 12-team College Football Playoff last season.
The Buckeyes defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the national title game after earning wins over Oregon, Texas and Tennessee.
As they head into the new season, Ohio State star Jeremiah Smith represented the Buckeyes at Big Ten Media Day.
During his appearance at Media Day, Smith was asked about his Mount Rushmore for Ohio State wide receivers. Smith quickly responded, revealing his No. 1 receiver, giving credit to Cris Carter, who played for the Buckeyes from 1984 to 1986.
"One, you got to go the great Cris Carter," Smith said.
After sharing his No. 1 wide receiver in Ohio State football history, Smith also added Marvin Harrison Jr., Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ted Ginn Jr. in his Mount Rushmore.

Former Ohio State Buckeyes star Cris Carter is widely considered one of the greatest wide receivers in college football history, cementing his legacy in the Big Ten.
During his time at Ohio State, Carter was a consensus All-American in 1986 and was named a two-time First-Team All-Big Ten twice in his college career.
After his college career with the Buckeyes, Carter played in the NFL from 1987 to 2002. While he was playing in the NFL, Carter was named a two-time First-Team All-Pro, a Second-Team All-Pro and an eight-time Pro Bowler.
Following a successful season with the Buckeyes, Smith is now heading into his second season with Ohio State.
During his freshman season at Ohio State, the Freshman All-American led the Buckeyes' wide receiving group, posting 15 touchdowns and 1,315 yards on 76 receptions.
