Mizzou adds an experienced SEC lineman to the fold.
Mizzou is adding to its offensive line depth by pulling from a conference mate.
On Wednesday afternoon, Mississippi State offensive lineman Luke Work announced on Instagram that he plans to transfer to Missouri for the 2026 season.
Work has been a constant presence on the Bulldogs line for the past two years, playing in 22 games with 14 starts over his freshman and sophomore seasons. He’s spent most of his time at both left and right tackle, giving Eli Drinkwitz and Chip Lindsey another option on the outside.
Mizzou is losing two starting lineman from the 2025 season, with center Connor Tollison and All-American right tackle Keagen Trost exhausting their eligibility. Work will come to Columbia with an immediate opportunity to grab one of the tackle spots, with the ever-present option of shifting Cayden Green back to left guard.
