The Chicago Sky returned to game action against the Minnesota Lynx.

After WNBA All-Star Weekend, Angel Reese was back in the lineup after being held out from the previous outing for "precautionary" reasons due to a leg injury.

In her return to the lineup, now having started in 22 of 22 games that she's been active for the Sky in her second season, Reese picked up a technical foul.

Reese earned her seventh technical foul of the season, which may lead to a fine from the WNBA. The Chicago Sky star is now one technical foul away from being automatically assessed a one-game suspension.

According to the league rules, any player who has received eight technical fouls on the season should receive a suspension from the WNBA.

Aside from the mishap in Angel Reese's disagreement with the officials against the Minnesota Lynx, the Chicago Sky star was playing phenomenally in her first game after the WNBA All-Star break.

In her second season in the WNBA, playing under head coach Tyler Marsh, Angel Reese entered the game averaging 14.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game with the Chicago Sky.

Reese is in line to finish the season averaging a double-double yet again, having previously done so during her rookie season.

Last year, Reese posted 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game for the Sky, leading the league in rebounding.
