Pisilli remains confident: “If we keep playing like this we can secure Top 4.”

Roma midfielder Niccolo Pisilli helped lead the Giallorossi in today’s 2-0 win over Lecce.

After the match, the youngster spoke to the media.

“We were coming off probably the most difficult period of the season; we had dropped off a bit, especially away from home. Today it was important to respond in that sense and take home the three points.”

“I could have played an even better game, there’s always room for improvement. It was my first league start, maybe I didn’t have the full 90 minutes, but it was good to play a full game.”

“We’re currently fourth, and if they’d told us that at the start of the year, it would have been positive. We have to keep going like this and try to repeat the first half of the season, because it almost certainly means getting into the Champions League.”

“Personally, I haven’t played much, but I’ve trained with strong teammates and a very strong coach. Even though I haven’t played, I feel like I’ve improved.”
