Rolando Romero has no intention of pursuing Devin Haney fight.

WBA 140 lb champion Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero recently caught up with Fight Hub TV and explained that he has absolutely no interest in entertaining and potential fight against Devin Haney now or in the future, believing the Haneys to be too litigious for it to be worth his time. Here’s some of what he had to say on that topic below.

“I mean, Devin Haney didn’t call me out” Romero said. “Who called me out?! Why didn’t they call me out after I fought Ryan? Why didn’t they call me out after they fought Norman? Why did they wait a few days and all that stuff until they got out of Saudi Arabia? I don’t know, I just feels like it’s weird.

“But, you know, I think Devin should get his rematch with Ryan because they had me help him promote the rematch, and I did help him promote the rematch…I think Devin should get his rematch and Ryan should do us all a favor and just give Devin his rematch, because I don’t want to get sued for two years after I knock him out…Don’t waste my time.”

Romero hasn’t fought since winning a dull decision over Ryan Garcia back in May 2025, and there’s no clear return plans for him at this time.
