Here are the 14 teams that Philadelphia will play next season.
Now that the 2025 NFL regular season is over, the 2026 opponents for all 32 teams have been revealed (thanks to the league’s formulaic schedule structure). Here’s an overview of the teams they’ll play.
Philadelphia Eagles 2026 opponents
The Eagles obviously play their three NFC East rivals twice per season, so that makes up six games.
They also play one NFC and one AFC division, which rotates each year. In 2026, that’s the NFC West and the AFC South, so that’s eight more games.
The Eagles then play the two teams that finished in the same place as Philadelphia from each of the other two NFC divisions. That’s the Chicago Bears in the NFC North and the Carolina Panthers in the NFC South.
With the addition of the 17th game, the Eagles will play the same place finisher in a rotational AFC division. That will be the Pittsburgh Steelers from the AFC North this year.

Quick thoughts
The NFL is typically a year-to-year league; there’s so much that can change from now until next season. Case in point: the Eagles were the sole repeat division winner in 2025. With that said, here are some early thoughts about the Birds’ 2026 opponents.
- The Eagles and Rams are set to play for the fifth time since the 2023 season. Or the sixth time if these two teams meet in the playoffs this January.
- The Seahawks haven’t come to Philly since they beat the Eagles in 2020. The last time the Eagles beat the Seahawks in a game was 2008.
- The Texans and Colts will be at Lincoln Financial Field for the first time since 2018.
- The Eagles getting the Panthers means they won’t face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (in the regular season, at least) for the first time since the 2020 season. The Eagles have had six games against the Bucs dating back to 2021.
- The Steelers haven’t won a game in Philly since 1965.
- Jonathan Gannon got fired as I was typing this article, so, they won’t get a chance to beat him as the Cardinals’ head coach in 2026.
- Interested to see how the Jags follow up this season they’ve had. Legitimate staying power or flash in the pan?
- The Eagles will presumably get to see last year’s No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward next season. Will be interesting to see who the Titans hire as their new head coach.
- Eagles vs. 49ers will be a rematch of the Wild Card game between these two teams.
- Eagles vs. Bears could potentially be a playoff rematch.
- In case you didn’t already notice, NFC teams get nine home regular season games in 2026.
- Note that specific dates and times won’t be revealed until the NFL officially reveals the entire 2026 schedule in April or May.
