And so we begin the trek back to work. Many of you reading this probably took some time off after the holidays, enjoying a week of PTO to coincide with the Christmas and New Year’s holiday. So if you’re heading back to work today for the first time in a long while, good luck.

- Speaking of the Yankees, they did sign Paul deJong to a minor league deal to give themselves some depth.
- The Royals gave their manager, Matt Quatraro, a contract extension through the 2029 season. He’s been good for them.
