PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — No. 16 Providence men’s hockey had their three-game winning streak snapped in a 5-1 loss to Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday afternoon.

Logan Sawyer got the Friars on the board with a power-play goal less than two minutes into the game, but after that, the Friars offense went cold and the visitors rallied off five unanswered goals.

Providence return to the ice Friday when they host Maine at 7 p.m.
