PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: January 3rd, 2025

1) New QB Enters Vikings Rumor Mill: Folks, the Vikings’ QB rumors are just getting started. Everyone would have preferred a reality where J.J. McCarthy fully locked down the passer spot, but that hasn’t occurred. As a result, Minnesota is going to be linked to just about everyone who is capable of tossing the pigskin.

2) The Vikings’ GM Delivers the Kiss of Death for 1 Playmaker Ahead of NFL Free Agency: Expect Jalen Nailor to head elsewhere. He is a strong player who could have beefier stats in a different uniform. Plus, the Vikings likely won’t be capable of dishing out the kind of money that he’ll be pursuing.

3) The Vikings Won a Bidding War for Surprise Breakout Player: In the end, Eric Wilson returned to Minnesota. Credit to the Vikings for holding appeal beyond just the dollars and cents. The focus now shifts toward how much the linebacker will demand after exploding in 2025.

4) There’s a New Offseason Priority for the Minnesota Vikings: The team’s leadership is going to have a long to-do list. Up top is going to be fixing the quarterback position, retaining Brian Flores, and getting the finances sorted out. There are several other issues beyond the obvious, though.

5) The Vikings’ 5 Most Lucrative Cut Candidates: Best guess is that Brian O’Neill sticks around on an extension. What happens with some of the others, though? EDGE1 Jonathan Greenard appears to be safe but there are going to be some difficult decisions ahead.
